Materials

This bed frame is available in a range of materials, including the unique materials used to create each different type of headboard. However, most are made with just a few different materials. The frame itself and any outward-facing wood components can be made from Cortado Acacia or Natural Rubberwood. The centre beam is always made of pine, and the slats are always sturdy plywood. 

The headboards can be made with the same solid woods, but they can also be made from natural cane rattan or plush fabrics, including polyester performance fabrics and boucle.

The Silk & Snow Wooden Bed Frame is a platform bed. This type of frame uses smaller slats that are closer together, with fewer gaps and a central support beam to maintain support.. It’s extremely simple and sturdier as a result. It’s compatible with all mattresses, including Silk & Snow mattresses. The centre support beam is made of durable pine wood that won’t give out or bow over time. 

Size Options

Thankfully, there are no size variations between different headboard options for the Silk & Snow Wooden Bed Frame. Since the frame is the same across all headboard versions, it is available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King.

Special Features

The Silk & Snow Wooden Bed Frame is special because you can choose your headboard style, wood style, and any fabric colours if the bed includes upholstery. The high-quality Japanese joinery is a highlight, as this bed doesn’t use screws like most of the other options we’ve looked at. It’s durable and sturdier as a result.

Headboard and Colour Options

There are quite a few headboard and colour options available for this bed. You can choose the Platform bed by itself, which doesn’t include a headboard at all. It is available in the two different wood options that are standard for every version of the frame (except the Rattan headboard). These options are Cortado Acacia and Natural Rubberwood. The Rattan Headboard, which is one of the most popular options for this bed frame, only comes in Natural Rubberwood.

Sleep Trial and Warranty

The Silk & Snow Wooden Bed Frame doesn’t include the same risk-free sleep trial as some of Silk & Snow’s other bedding products. You’ll still have a trial, though. For 30 nights after your bed frame arrives on your doorstep, you’ll be able to decide if it works for you. During this first month, you can initiate a return if you don’t like it.

If you do like it (and we think you will), you will have access to a 5-year warranty. This warranty covers any physical flaw in the bed frame that causes warping, bending, or distortions of any kind of more than 1 inch, provided that it has been used appropriately and that the weight limit has not been exceeded.
