Materials

The headboard and side rails of the Silk & Snow Storage Bed Frame are made with a high-quality polyester upholstery material. It is unlikely to rip, tear, or become damaged during normal use. It’s available in three different colours: Dune, Stone, and Cloud.

The legs are made of solid wood, with poplar wood slats to keep your mattress supported and prevent sagging. The slats are placed close enough that they won’t damage the mattress, and there is no further foundation required. 

The wood frame uses powder coated iron components in engineered wood. The storage drawer is made from high-quality MDF.

This is a slatted frame with upholstered side rails and headboard. The frame cannot be separated from the headboard or rails, so make sure that you enjoy the entire package before ordering. Sometimes, slatted frames can include slats that are too thin or too far apart. The result is mattress damage or sagging.

Thankfully, the Silk & Snow Storage Bed Frame includes slats that are 2″ wide and 3″ apart. This is the optimal range for most all-foam and hybrid mattresses. This frame is compatible with all mattresses, especially Silk & Snow mattresses. It has a weight limit of 1100 pounds (keep in mind that this includes the weight of the mattress).It’s recommended for use with a mattress that is between 10″ and 14″ tall.
