Our Methodology
We test all adjustable beds with the same mattress to ensure that the features we discuss are coming from the frame, not the bed itself. All bed frames are thoroughly tested, with each feature explored to its full potential hundreds of times. We look at the way the frame is made, how stable it is, and how the materials perform. Then, we test the comfort, adjustment, and usability of the features.
Once we have done this, we send the bed frames home with our testers. They use them for an extended period of time to get an idea of how they will perform in Canadian homes. When writing our review, we consider both our own test results and tester feedback to develop our findings.

Adjustable Bed Details
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed offers three different options for relaxation. You can choose the Core version, which offers minimal features at a low cost, or fully upgrade to Premier for a luxury experience. Each level has different features, which compound up to the Premier, which has them all. You can spend exactly as much as you want to, or splurge to get the features you’ve been eyeing.
No matter which you choose, this frame is sturdy and made with high-quality materials. The motors make transitions smooth and effortless, so you aren’t jostled around when you adjust the bed. Four presets (TV, Lounge, Anti-Snore, and Zero-Gravity) give you adjustment options right out of the box, and an additional 3 memory slots allow you to save your favourite sleeping position for perfect relaxation.
We loved that you could control this bed with both the remote and the Bluetooth app. Since the remote is not attached to the bed like some options, you won’t be out of luck if you lose the remote. The Bluetooth app also makes saving the memory presets easier.
Tiered features start with the standard adjustment, retainer bar, and connectivity with both control methods. The next tier adds quality-of-life features that greatly improve your experience, including USB ports and full-body massage functionality. This level also introduced adjustable lumbar support, which can be raised or lowered to increase or decrease the intensity of the support. For back pain, this feature is a must.
Finally, the Premier option includes all of the above features, as well as a third adjustment point at the neck. It also has under-bed lighting, so you can navigate in the dark while your partner is sleeping (and without turning on bright lights).
Despite all of this, our favourite feature of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is its broad compatibility. If you have a Silk & Snow bed frame, you can take the legs off the adjustable base and place it directly on the frame. Then, put your mattress on top of it. The zero-clearance design means it won’t harm your original bed frame, and you can keep the headboard, under-bed storage, and upholstered features you love.
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is great for:
- ✅ Canadians who want to choose the features they need in their adjustable bed
- ✅ Those who prefer a more luxurious option
- ✅ Budget shoppers
- ✅ Users who already have a Silk & Snow bed frame and headboard
- ✅ Compatibility with most mattresses
Skip the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed if you:
- ⚠️ Need a Twin or standard King-sized frame
- ⚠️ Are confused or unsure about the different versions and their features
Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed Prices and Sizes
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed comes in four different sizes, including Twin XL, Full/Double, Queen, and Split King. Split King allows for each side of the bed to be independently adjusted, which is perfect for couples with different preferences.
If you can’t find the mattress you like in a Split King size, remember that you can purchase two Twin XL mattresses instead. It’s the same package, but the Split King option takes the hassle of ordering the mattresses separately.
Silk & Snow offers three versions of their adjustable bed. Each tier offers different features and a separate price.
Size | Dimensions | Core Price | Enhanced Price | Premier Price |
Twin XL | 37.4” x 78.9” x 15” | $1600 | $2400 | $3300 |
Full/Double | 53.5” x 73.6” x 15” | $1700 | $2700 | $3500 |
Queen | 59.1” x 78.9” x 15” | $1800 | $2800 | $3600 |
Split King | 37.4” x 78.9” x 15” (x2) | $3200 | $4800 | $6600 |
Below, we’ll talk about the features of each of these options. Keep in mind that each tier includes all of the features of the previous tier; this means that the Enhanced adjustable bed has all the Core features and the Enhanced features. Likewise, the Premier adjustable bed has every available feature.
Adjustable Bed Construction
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed uses soft upholstery and a sturdy metal frame. They don’t use any synthetic materials to create their adjustable bed, which is great for those who want a more eco-conscious option. Here’s what goes into making this bed special.
Frame Materials
The frame of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is made of a solid, sturdy metal. It won’t bed or warp as long as the weight limit (750 pounds) is observed. One of the most unique features of the Silk & Snow adjustable bed is its compatibility with your existing bed frame. You can use the adjustable bed on its own, or use it with your existing Silk & Snow frame.
To care for the metal frame, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth.
Upholstery
All upholstery on the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is made of soft cotton and natural wool batting. The all-natural design is beautiful and simple, but it also makes it easy to clean the upholstered sections. If needed, you can gently spot clean the upholstery on the bed. Since it is a lighter colour, spot cleaning may be required after periods of extended use.
Motors
The motors on this adjustable bed are smooth and quiet. You are unlikely to hear the bed adjusting if you are already asleep, but there may be some vibration (especially in the Split King version). However, the motors are durable enough for years of use, so they won’t go out on you anytime soon.
Adjustable Bed Features
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed has three different versions with numerous features, the most of any adjustable bed we’ve reviewed. We’ve separated the features into the version they appear in, but keep in mind that the features are cumulative. The Premier adjustable bed has every feature listed here, while the Enhanced has its own features, and the Core version features as well.
Core Version Features
The Core version of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is the most basic version. It has enough features to get you started, especially if you don’t require much in terms of functionality.
Adjustment
This version of the Silk & Snow adjustable bed articulates at the head and feet. These two adjustment points provide a good starting point for a more comfortable sleep, as they can accommodate most sleepers. Instead of having set increments, this adjustable bed uses smooth, free adjustment so you can always find the perfect position.
Controls and Presets
This adjustable bed is controlled via both a wireless remote and the Bluetooth app. It’s easy to connect your bed to the app, which may be easier than the remote for saving memory presets and using the customizable settings.
This bed features 4 customizable presets, including Zero-Gravity and Anti-Snore. You can change and adjust these settings if you want to, but they are there for complete comfort throughout the night. There are also three memory positions you can change. Saving your favourite position is simple and doesn’t take a lot of technical expertise.
Compatibility
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is compatible with most hybrid, latex, and memory foam mattresses. Any bed that is compatible with adjustable frames will work here. However, this bed has another level of compatibility that we found to be exceptional.
Say you have a platform bed frame, or a slatted frame with under-bed storage that you don’t want to give up. If you choose the Silk & Snow versions of these beds, the Adjustable Bed is fully compatible. This means you can remove the legs from the frame of the adjustable bed and place it onto any other Silk & Snow bed frame.
While it is nestled between the frame and your mattress, the zero-clearance design won’t harm your existing frame. You can still use your under-bed storage solutions and your headboard as well. If you don’t have a Silk & Snow bed frame, you can use the adjustable legs (included with the adjustable bed) without any loss of functionality.

Retainer Bar
A retainer bar is available for the end of the bed. This bar ensures that the mattress doesn’t slip off the edge of the bed when you have the head inclined. Though this is a common worry with adjustable beds, few options include this bar. Every version of the Silk & Snow Adjustable bed comes with this retainer bar, and it’s easy to remove if it doesn’t work for you.
Enhanced Version Features
The Enhanced version of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed adds the following features to the bed. It retains all of the Core features as well.
Lumbar Support
In the Enhanced version, you’ll find an adjustable lumbar support bar. You can use the app or remote to move this bar up or down to increase or decrease the level of lumbar support you need. If you regularly suffer from aches, especially in your back, this section may be able to help you feel more comfortable without switching to a new mattress.
Massage Function
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed’s massage functionality features a full-body massage that helps you relax and sleep more comfortably. It’s simple to use this feature, too. You’ll find it on both the remote and in the smartphone app. If you purchase the Split King size, both sides of the bed have individual massage controls that can be adjusted independently.
USB Ports
The upgraded Silk & Snow adjustable Bed also features USB ports. There are two ports on either side, including a USB-A and USB-C port. You’ll be able to charge all of your devices. You don’t even have to get out of bed to do it!
Premier Version Features
The Premier model of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed includes these features, plus all of the features present in the Core and Enhanced models.
Neck Tilt
If you read or watch TV in bed, a neck tilt feature might be the perfect upgrade. A third adjustment point makes this version of the adjustable bed more comfortable for those who require neck support. This can help while you sleep and relax, but it’s especially comfortable for reading or scrolling your phone in bed.
Under Bed Lighting
Under-bed lighting is a rare quality-of-life feature that we don’t see too often. The Premier Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed features lighting you can toggle on and off. It’s a soft glow that can help you find your way in the dark without turning on bright lights or disturbing your partner. Think of it like a bathroom nightlight – it isn’t going to wake you up, but you’ll be able to see what you’re doing.
Model | Features Summary |
Core | Head and foot adjustment Retainer bar to hold the mattress in place Wireless remote Zero-Gravity mode Anti-Snore 4 total customizable presets and 3 memory positions |
Enhanced | All Core Features Bluetooth app control Adjustable lumbar support Massage functions USB ports on either side of the bed |

Delivery, Sleep Trials, and Returns
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed ships free to most locations in Canada. There may be additional fees for rural or remote locations, but most major cities in the provinces don’t require any additional fees. The box will arrive at your door within 10 business days (depending on your location).
You’ll have 30 days from the time it arrives to see if it works for you, but be warned. Though Silk & Snow says that returns are free on this bed, the product page states that the customer is responsible for return shipping. If you are concerned about this, it’s best to contact customer service for clarity about whether you will have to pay return shipping during this trial or not.
If you do need to return it, it must be in its original box and packaging, with all components included. There cannot be any damage to the frame (including odours), and it must be in a donatable condition. If you decide to keep the bed instead, you’ll have a 10-year limited warranty. Unlike other companies that break this down into several different warranties with different lengths, Silk & Snow only specifies that the bed is covered by a 10-year limited warranty.
- Shipping Cost: Free to most locations
- Time to Delivery: 7-10 days
- Courier: Various
- Sleep Trial Length: 30 days
- Warranty: 10 years
- Ease of Return: Customer is responsible for return shipping; must be returned in the original box and packaging.
Competing Canadian Adjustable Bed Comparisons
There are a few other adjustable beds in Canada, and each has its own range of features and options. Here’s how it stacks up to the other most popular adjustable beds in Canada.
Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed vs Endy Adjustable Bed

The Endy Adjustable Bed is a basic model that is light on features, but offers strong quality befitting its well-known brand name. This model comes with two tilt options (Head and Foot) as well as a soft, upholstered headboard in an accessible bundle. You can purchase it without the headboard if needed. The biggest difference here is that the Endy Adjustable Bed comes in three additional sizes that Silk & Snow doesn’t offer, including Twin, California King, and Standard King (not Split).
The Endy Adjustable Bed doesn’t feature USB ports, massage functions, memory presets, under-bed lighting, or the compatibility that the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed offers. It’s at a similar price point but without many of the features that make the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed stand out.
Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed vs Douglas Adjustable Bed

The Douglas Adjustable Bed is a solid option that includes Zero-Gravity presets, massage features, and one-touch flat. The legs are extremely adjustable, with several 3” sections that allow you to choose the perfect height for your bed frame. It includes USB ports as well, making it just short of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed in terms of features.
However, Douglas doesn’t have the memory presets or preset options that the Silk & Snow does. It doesn’t have a Bluetooth app either, which makes the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed easier to control. Douglas has an edge when it comes to price, especially considering that it’s comparable to the Core Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed.
Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed vs Casper Lifestyle Pro Adjustable Base Pro

The Casper Lifestyle Pro Adjustable Base Pro is one of the most expensive options on our list, comparable to the prices for the Premier Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed. It offers some of the same features, including adjustable lumbar support, 4 presets (Zero-Gravity and Anti-Snore among them), and massage features.
The Casper features fewer memory presets and doesn’t use under-bed lighting or the additional neck tilt option. In addition to this feature disparity, Casper is not a Canadian company. While they make some of their products in Canada, Silk & Snow is a Canadian-owned company that makes their products here as much as possible.
Should You Buy the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed?
We think that the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is certainly worth trying. Its comprehensive list of features is one of the longest you’ll find in a Canadian-made adjustable bed, or even from a Canadian company. We love that you can choose your features and decide whether the upgraded models are exactly what you want. If you are new to adjustable beds or want to upgrade from your older model, the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed offers everything you need to get started and stay comfortable.
“The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is the smoothest one we’ve ever tried. We got the Premier version and it’s perfect for all of our needs.”

Highlights of the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed
This adjustable bed has a full range of great features, and its tiered system allows you to choose what you’ll use without overpaying for features you aren’t going to need. The compatibility was a big highlight for us, as we like the idea of using a bed frame you already own and love. Some of the features, including under-bed lighting and neck tilt, are rare when it comes to Canadian adjustable beds. These are just some of the reasons we can recommend the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed.
Areas for Improvement
The Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed is a feature-rich option, but the price can rise quickly as you move up the tiers. The price may be a sticking point for some. Other than that, the features seem solid and the quality is great, making this one of the best adjustable beds in Canada.
