A Comfortable, Plush Hybrid Perfect for Side Sleepers
Logan & Cove Pinnacle is the company’s fully upgraded mattress. This new offering from the company is made with high-quality materials and even more coils than before. A triple coil layer helps with additional support and contouring, creating a personalized feel for each sleeper. This mattress stands out among other luxury mattresses, even ones that far exceed its price point.
Our testers and experts recommend the Pinnacle for those who sleep hot, those who sleep near the edge, and Canadians who need additional lumbar support. The eco-conscious foams and high-quality materials make this a great pick for those who are concerned about the environment, but don’t want to sacrifice quality. This mattress is comparable to much more expensive models from other luxury companies, but you don’t have to take our word for it. You can try it during a 365-night sleep trial. With a 15-year warranty, you’ll have all the peace of mind you need to give it a try.

Our Methodology
We rank all of our mattresses based on features that most Canadians look for as they shop. Our evaluation process starts with a critical look at the mattress, its construction, and what the manufacturer has to say about it. We take all of this into account before we begin our testing phases.
After we’ve determined how the mattress is made, we begin several rounds of comprehensive testing, which include both practical tests (using test sleepers to determine whether the features meet their needs) and simulation tests. These tests take the mattress through its paces in a variety of conditions. This allows us to offer you the best, most accurate scores when it comes to performance.

Mattress Details
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is the company’s most upgraded mattress offering. This mattress is a full 15″ high, packed with three coil layers and multiple comfort materials and layers. Despite how advanced it is, this mattress comes at a much more affordable price than other options in its price range. The affordable nature of this mattress gives it a more widespread appeal, and this is backed by its universally appreciated firmness level and multiple performance and comfort features.
This mattress features a luxuriously soft Euro-top section that is a full 1.5″ high. This gives you plenty of cloud-like pressure relief to cushion the firmer support from below. This mattress features three coil layers, including two micro-coil layers that help support your body in the unique way you need. These layers contour to your body to provide a custom support map that helps give you the support you need right where you need it. Below, a strong coil layer is zoned for better lumbar support, reducing strain on your hips and lower back.
This mattress performs extremely well when it comes to temperature control, edge support, and pressure relief. It’s extremely responsive as well. Despite the well-cushioned top layer and deep sinkage, this mattress is easy to move around on. If you need to move from one position to another to get comfortable, you won’t feel stuck in this mattress. On the other hand, motion isolation may be a problem for couples looking to purchase this mattress.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle offers a 365-night trial, so you’ll have a full year from your time of purchase to see if it works for you. If it isn’t perfect, you can return it for a full refund. This mattress is made exclusively in Canada and comes with a 15-year warranty to protect against manufacturing issues.
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is great for:
- ✅ A longer sleep trial
- ✅ Better contouring
- ✅ Outstanding pressure relief and edge support
- ✅ Great temperature control
- ✅ Responsiveness and ease of movement
- ✅ Affordable cost for a luxury mattress
- ✅ Comfortable Euro-top section
Skip the Logan & Cove Pinnacle if you:
- ⚠️ Need strong motion isolation
- ⚠️ Like a mattress with bounce
Logan & Cove Frontier Prices and Sizes
The Pinnacle is the most expensive mattress by Logan & Cove, but it isn’t too expensive when compared to other Canadian mattress brands. Most other hybrids cost at least this much, but may not offer the same quality or performance as the Pinnacle. Despite the more affordable pricing, the Logan & Cove Pinnacle is made with high-quality proprietary materials that set it apart.
This mattress tested well in most of our testing areas, including temperature control, edge support, and pressure relief. The medium-firm feel makes it ideal for most sleeping positions, but it’s especially good for side sleepers.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle is available in all six standard mattress sizes. It also comes in Split King, which is the perfect size for those with split adjustable bed frames.
Size | Dimensions | Cost |
Twin | 38” x 75” x 15” | $1299 |
Twin XL | 38” x 80” x 15″ | $1399 |
Full | 53” x 75” x 15” | $1499 |
Queen | 60” x 80” x 15″ | $1699 |
King | 76” x 80” x 15” | $1999 |
California King | 72” x 84” x 15” | $1999 |
Split King | 76” x 80” x 15” | $2798 |
Mattress Construction
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle uses a unique construction with a thick, luxurious Euro-top cover and up to 4,801 coils across three coil layers.
- Euro-Top: This 1.5” Quilted Euro-top cover is Logan & Cove’s thickest top layer yet. This cover features diamond stitching, integrated CryoFusion nanofibres, and hollow fibre fill for cooling. A secondary layer of cooling gel helps cushion your body immediately.
- Cooling Gel Foam: The first layer in the body of the mattress is made with Logan & Cove’s ecoLuxe gel foam. This foam contours to your body, reducing pressure and removing heat.
- Micro-Coils: The first micro-coil layer offers better support than foam alone, contouring to your body to deliver support where you need it most.
- Transition Layer: A 1” transition layer of Elastex foam offers deep pressure relief and better full-body support and response.
- Second Micro-Coil Layer: Pinnacle is the first Logan & Cove mattress that features a second layer of micro-coils. This layer continues with strong, adaptive support, increased airflow, and contouring for deep pressure points.
- Support Base: Logan & Cove Pinnacle uses a 9” pocket coil support base, reinforced with a firm foam perimeter. This zoned coil layer improves support at your hips and lower back while bolstering the edges of the mattress.
The three coil layers (two micro-coils, one with 9” pocket coils) set the Logan & Cove Pinnacle apart from other mattresses in its price point.

Mattress Performance and Testing
When we tested the Logan & Cove Pinnacle, we looked for features that most Canadians prefer for their mattresses. These performance areas address common pain points, including overheating, motion transfer, and sagging edges.
Temperature Control

Our temperature control tests use heat maps and tracking technology to understand how hot the core of the mattress gets after hours of use. We also track how well the core of the mattress cools down, and how quickly the heat lingers after our testers move away. Our testing took into account the construction of the mattress and any cooling materials or features used within. Warm sleepers generally need a score of at least 6/10 to be comfortable at night, while those who sleep extremely hot should look for a mattress with higher ratings.
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle got a fairly high score from us. The multiple layers of coils provided more airflow through the centre of the mattress, reducing how much heat could build up in the core of the mattress. While this score isn’t the best on the Canadian market, it’s still great for those who sleep hot. Our testers noted that they didn’t feel nearly as warm upon waking as they did with other hybrids, and that the cushioned top section was comfortable without producing too much extra heat.
Motion Isolation

To test how well a mattress isolates motion, we conduct a series of tests using equipment, tracking software, and testers in real time. Then, our testers took the mattresses home to test for a longer period. Afterwards, they submitted their feedback to help us understand how the mattress performed after weeks of use. Light sleepers, especially those with restless partners, should choose a mattress rated at least a 7/10 in order to sleep undisturbed.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle didn’t perform very well in this area. While the three coil layers are great for feel, support, and pressure relief, they transfer motion much more easily than foam. The result is a mattress that allows you to feel most motion from the other side of the bed, even if the smaller motions are sometimes absorbed. This might not be the right option for you if you need a mattress that absorbs motion.
Edge Support

If you sleep near the edge of the bed, edge support is an important feature for you. During our tests, we examined the mattress’s construction and materials. We applied weight at the edge to measure sagging and sinking, which helped us determine how it might work for you. Foam mattresses typically have less edge support than hybrids, which can produce scores of up to 8/10 on average.
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle far exceeded this score when we tested its edges. The firmer foam perimeter offers a stronger edge than firm or coils alone. This bolstered the edges significantly, resulting in a great score for edge sleepers.
Firmness and Feel of the Logan & Cove Pinnacle
We rank each mattress we review on a scale of 1 to 10 for firmness. A mattress that ranks at a 1 out of 10 would be impossibly soft, while a mattress that ranks at a 10 out of 10 would be hard as a rock. We take brand intent into account, but we use our test results to help determine a more accurate firmness ranking.

The Logan & Cove Pinnacle got a score of 6.5 from us, which is perfectly medium firm. The zoned coils pair well with the micro-coil contouring layers, which reduce pressure and strain all over your body. Though this mattress has some deeper sinkage, these micro-coil layers provide immediate personalized contouring, so you’re always sleeping in a more comfortable position.
This mattress is firm enough for comfortable lumbar support as well as side sleepers, though most sleeping positions will love how it feels.
Performance for Different Weights and Sleeping Preferences
Mattresses feel different for each sleeper. The same mattress could feel perfectly comfortable for one person and extremely uncomfortable for the next. Sleep preferences and body type play big roles in determining how a mattress performs for you. Here, we’ll examine some possible considerations for the Logan & Cove Pinnacle mattress.
Weight Considerations
Most companies in the Canadian mattress industry put an ‘average’ sleeper at between 170 and 230 pounds. This range helps with determining firmness and feel for the most common range of users, but it’s important to define when we speak about weight and body type considerations.
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle features firm zoned support and a softer top, making it ideal for sleepers of most body types. Heavier sleepers can appreciate a much thicker mattress than might be offered elsewhere, as the Pinnacle is 15” tall. Zoned support and personalized contouring both allow for deeper comfort regardless of body type.
Sleeping Positions
The position you sleep in can change what you need from your mattress. Our testing team has a range of sleepers in every position and of every body type, which helps us recommend mattresses that might be best for you. Here’s how the Logan & Cove Pinnacle works for each sleeping position.
- Side Sleepers: Side sleepers often feel strain on their lumbar and hips when they get comfortable, so they need a mattress with strong alignment, good pressure relief, and hip support. Pinnacle’s firm zoned coils provide this support, while the dual contouring micro-coil layers form to the body to provide personalized contouring. Even though this mattress has deep sinkage, you won’t ever feel like you’ve bottomed out or that you are sleeping at a strange angle.
- Back Sleepers: Back sleepers need a contouring mattress that will support their lower back when they sleep. Most sleeping positions can be prone to back pain, but back sleepers may be prone to more back pain than other types of sleepers. They tend to prefer softer mattresses with a plush feel that put a strain on their lower back. The Pinnacle is a good fit for these needs.
- Stomach Sleepers: Stomach sleepers tend to prefer firmer mattresses, particularly those with firm support and softer tops. Thankfully, the Pinnacle offers a thick Euro-top for a plush surface with strong contouring and support, so stomach sleepers can feel comfortable here.
- Combo Sleepers: Combination sleepers need great ease of movement and support in all sleeping positions. Since they change positions so often, it’s important to choose a mattress that offers adequate support and contouring. The Pinnacle is medium-firm, which works well for most sleepers. Plus, the ease of movement here will help you move freely.

Company Background
Logan & Cove is a well-established Canadian bed-in-a-box brand that falls under the Goodmorning.com umbrella. Goodmorning.com mattresses are known for being high-quality options made specifically for the Canadian market. In fact, Logan & Cove is one of their most luxurious brands, and has a reputation for its high-quality hotel-style mattresses that come at a reasonable price.
Logan & Cove also makes the Choice, their base model, and the Frontier. The Frontier used to be at the top of their lineup, with upgraded features that help with better contouring and support. The Pinnacle improves upon the Frontier’s best features, earning the top spot among Logan & Cove mattresses. The company also makes bed frames, coordinating bedding, and other bedroom essentials. Logan & Cove is a Canadian brand that is only available online within Canada.
Commitment to the Environment
Logan & Cove is a Goodmorning.com company. The entire company and all of its brands are committed to reducing their carbon footprint through better manufacturing processes and the use of renewable energy when possible. There are multiple layers of eco-conscious materials inside the Pinnacle, including EcoLuxe (which uses 40% less carbon than standard memory foam) and Elastex (a memory foam alternative that doesn’t use the same type of chemicals).
Logan & Cove Pinnacle vs Other Logan & Cove Mattresses

Logan & Cove offers three total mattresses. The Pinnacle is their fully upgraded model, while the Choice is their basic option, and the Frontier is their midline model.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle vs Logan & Cove Choice
The Logan & Cove Choice is the company’s basic model. It forgoes the micro-coil layers in favour of providing a thinner, more traditional hybrid-style mattress. While this mattress is less costly, it also doesn’t deliver performance at the same level as the Pinnacle or the midline model, the Frontier.
Ultimately, both mattresses offer similar performance, but the Pinnacle is a softer, more comfortable experience. The well-cushioned Euro-top is a full inch thicker on the Pinnacle. Further, the Pinnacle’s micro-coil layers allow for a deeper, more contouring pressure relief than the Choice’s more traditional design. The Choice is a good option for a luxurious hybrid on a budget, but the Pinnacle delivers some features that are well worth the extra cost.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle vs Logan & Cove Frontier
The Frontier used to be the most luxurious Logan & Cove mattress. Its performance is closer to the Pinnacle than the Choice, with outstanding temperature control, edge support, and contouring properties. It uses two coil layers, including one micro coil layer and one standard pocket coil support base. Of all the features it offers, the Frontier suffers most when it comes to motion isolation.
Surprisingly, the Frontier has better motion isolation than the Pinnacle. Having only two coil layers reduces some shaking, but it still doesn’t perform well enough for those who often wake up when their partner tosses and turns. Pinnacle contours better and offers better pressure relief, but these mattresses have about the same level of temperature control and edge support.
Competing Canadian Mattress Comparisons
There are a host of comparable mattresses on the Canadian market, but some may work better for you than others. Here, we’ll look at how the Logan & Cove Pinnacle compares to the Silk & Snow Organic and the Casper Wave Hybrid Snow.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle vs Silk & Snow Organic
Silk & Snow Organic is a fully natural and organic mattress from the Canadian company Silk & Snow. This mattress uses certified organic textiles and foams to create a comfortable hybrid experience that won’t irritate your allergies. It comes in three firmness options, which gives it an edge over the Logan & Cove Pinnacle.
However, Silk & Snow Organic only really outperforms the Pinnacle when it comes to motion isolation. Even then, it isn’t much of a difference; the Silk & Snow Organic only got a few more points from us during our scoring process. However, the Pinnacle offers better active cooling features, stronger edge support, and better pressure relief than the comparable firmness from the S&S Organic.
Logan & Cove Pinnacle vs Casper Wave Hybrid Snow
Casper Wave Hybrid Snow is a luxury mattress that is packed with cooling and comfort technologies. It uses layers of proprietary materials to reduce heat, keep you aligned, and reduce strain. However, it is definitely a luxury mattress; the Queen size is $3,999 compared to the Logan & Cove Pinnacle at $1,699.
When it comes to performance, choosing the things you prioritize is important. The Casper Wave Hybrid Snow has slightly better cooling and motion isolation, and gets a perfect score for pressure relief. However, the Pinnacle is more eco-conscious and has stronger edge support, as well as much better company policies (Casper’s sleep trial is 100 nights, and they have a 10-year warranty). Plus, the Logan & Cove Pinnacle is thicker and may be better for heavier sleepers.
Should You Buy the Logan & Cove Pinnacle?
The Logan & Cove Pinnacle is a great choice for Canadians who want a luxurious experience, but don’t necessarily have thousands to spend on a new mattress. Hybrid support, micro-coil contouring, and excellent pressure relief make its price tag feel worth it, especially after you’ve slept on it. Proprietary, eco-conscious materials make it an attractive option for Canadians who want something a little different, too.
Logan & Cove has some of the best company policies on the Canadian market. A full 365-night trial and a generous 15-year warranty give you peace of mind to try the mattress without worrying about a lack of quality. This mattress’s performance, as well as its unique position as a luxury option at a stunningly low price, make the Logan & Cove Pinnacle worth trying.
“We love the Logan & Cove Pinnacle. The contouring feels better than most mattresses we’ve tried, and both of us are waking up more well-rested than we have in a long time. When it’s time to buy a new mattress, we wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Pinnacle.”

Our Recommendations for the Logan & Cove Frontier
The plush top makes the Logan & Cove Pinnacle easy to recommend, especially for those who need additional pressure relief and balancing. Most body types and sleeping positions can get comfortable on this mattress. Still, we’d especially recommend it for heavier sleepers, side sleepers, and those who need contouring that doesn’t introduce any additional strain.
FAQs
Is the Logan & Cove Pinnacle a bed in a box?
Yes! Even though it’s a hybrid mattress, it compresses to fit into a box for easy shipping. The triple coil layers don’t prevent this mattress from being shipped right to your door.
Is this a good mattress for hot sleepers?
Yes! The layers of coils help introduce additional airflow to the core of the mattress, which helps reduce heat throughout. Hot sleepers can get more comfortable on the Logan & Cove Pinnacle.
Is the cover of the Logan & Cove Pinnacle removable?
Due to the nature of the cover (and the fact that it is quilted right into the Euro-top section), it is not removable. You can use a mattress protector to help keep the cover clean and fresh.
Is the Logan & Cove Pinnacle hypoallergenic?
While the Logan & Cove Pinnacle uses some hypoallergenic materials, the mattress itself is not advertised or rated to be fully hypoallergenic.
Where is the Logan & Cove Pinnacle made?
The Pinnacle is made right here in Canada, just like Logan & Cove’s other mattresses.
