This is one of the only adjustable beds we’ve looked at where you can purchase a standard King, California King, or Split King bed. Usually, a Split King is the only King-sized option available. The wealth of options here was refreshing. 

We’d like to draw your attention to the Split King option and its discounted price. Usually, a Split King adjustable bed is double the price of the Twin XL, since it contains two Twin XL beds. However, that isn’t the case here. It’s less than double for a Split King, and we think that may have something to do with the way this adjustable bed is sold.

Since it is packaged with a headboard and frame, we can assume that those add a significant upcharge to the price. The Split King option gives you a lower-cost option and the headboard and bed frame that works for both Twin XL frames.

Adjustable Bed Construction

Frame Materials

When it comes to the Endy Upholstered Adjustable Bed, there are a few different frames to be aware of. First, the adjustable base itself is made with steel legs, which can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The Upholstered frame that is included with the adjustable bed is made with hardwood plywood, with plywood legs. Both are extremely sturdy and well-made. We found that they didn’t move much at all while the bed was adjusting.

Upholstery

There are multiple upholstered surfaces on the Endy Adjustable Bed. The adjustable bed panels are made of pressed eucalyptus, but the wood is wrapped in polyester fabric. The Warm Oat colour option is upholstered with 82% polyester and 18% rayon, while the Heather Grey version is made with 100% polyester fabric. Both are easy to care for when spot cleaned.

Motors

The motors on the Endy Adjustable Bed are smooth, but can be a bit louder than we generally like to see. The movement is gradual and comfortable enough that you won’t be jostled around too much while the bed is adjusting. Still, if you adjust the bed while your partner is asleep (even on the Split King version), they are likely to wake up from the noise of the motor.

It’s stylish and more affordable if you don’t already own a headboard or bed frame.

Zero-Gravity

Zero-Gravity is a completely neutral body position that leads to better relaxation and more restorative sleep. This position raises the head and foot of the bed into a position that completely removes pressure from your body, allowing you to relax peacefully into sleep without discomfort.

Tool-Free Assembly

You won’t need any tools to put the Endy Adjustable Bed together. Tool-free assembly means you’ll only need to attach the legs to the bed and the upholstered frame to get it ready to use. The bed will arrive in a series of boxes that you will need to move, so it may be best to have help. Some of the boxes can weigh over 100 pounds total. Team lifting is encouraged. 

Head and Foot Adjustment 

This adjustable bed has two adjustment points: the head and foot of the bed. Each one is freely adjustable, so there are no restrictions to adhere to. You can move it as much or as little as needed to find the most comfortable position for you.

Two Colour Options

The Endy Adjustable Bed is available in two colourways. You can choose the Heather Grey option, which is a mild, cool-toned grey, or the Warm Oat (a light brown). Though the frame part of the adjustable bed will remain black, the upholstered surround and plush upholstered headboard will be whichever colour you choose.

Wireless Remote 

A simple, easy-to-read wireless remote controls this adjustable bed. Since this bed doesn’t include a Bluetooth app, you can control every aspect of the bed from this remote. If you want massage features, USB ports, and additional tilt points, you’ll have to pay more for the luxury models. However, the Core version includes 4 presets, 3 memory presets, access to a Bluetooth app for controls, and adjustable leg sections. 

These features alone put the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed miles ahead of the Endy, but the Endy’s addition of the headboard and upholstered frame gives it an edge that the Silk & Snow Adjustable Bed doesn’t have.

Endy Adjustable Bed vs Capser Lifestyle Adjustable Base Pro

The Casper Lifestyle Adjustable Base Pro is the midline option from Casper’s line of Lifestyle adjustable beds. This model has massage features, adjustable lumbar support, USB ports, and a universal headboard bracket. Four different leg height options, 4 presets, and one memory function round out its list of features. 

Though it is a little more expensive than the Endy Adjustable Bed, it also comes with features that Endy doesn’t. The extra may be justified when you consider the additional options, presets, and adjustments that set the Casper Lifestyle Adjustable Base Pro apart.

Endy has a solid reputation for quality, and this adjustable bed is no different. Highlights of the Endy Adjustable Bed

The Endy Upholstered Adjustable Bed stands out in a few ways. The inclusion of the headboard and upholstered frame is a huge highlight, as it’s unique compared to most of the adjustable beds we’ve looked at. The two colour options are nice, too. The Zero-G preset and free adjustment on the head and foot sections are highlights, as are the smooth motors and simple controls.

Areas for Improvement

While this adjustable bed had some notable features, we wish it had USB ports at the very least. Massage functionality and an app for controls would have been nice, and more presets are always a good thing. Currently, it appears that Endy is out of stock on most options, so better availability would be ideal as well.

The Endy Upholstered Adjustable Bed can hold up to 750 pounds. Keep in mind that this must cover the weight of both sleepers and the weight of your mattress, which can be over 100 pounds depending on the size.

Are there options to increase the height of the bed? 

Currently, there are no options to help increase the height of the adjustable bed. There are no additional leg sections to raise it. Since the adjustable bed needs a stable base, we also can’t recommend using bed frame boosters or other third-party devices to raise the height of the bed.

What size mattress should I get for the Split King version?

You can choose a Split King mattress for the Split King adjustable bed. If you can’t find the mattress you want in a Split King size, you can choose to purchase two Twin XL mattresses. They are the perfect size, and most companies send two Twin XL mattresses when you purchase a Split King mattress anyway.
